Cha Cha Ultra Trail

The CHA CHA CHA ULTRA TRAIL, 17-18 September 2022

Created on core values of community, inclusivity, and the motivation to showcase Verbier and Val de Bagnes as one of the most scenic trail destinations in Europe. This is a passion project created by runners for runners.

Set up by Emma Bodkin and Lottie Pridham, entrepreneurs, and passionate local trail runners who have lived in Verbier collectively for over 15+ years.

Fuelled by passion and motivation to put Verbier at the forefront of the trail running stage. They are keen to promote females in this sport and encourage inclusivity, inviting everyone onto the trails with 4 race distances to choose from.

84 km & 5900 m - Described as, ‘one of the most grueling trail races ever’. This a chance for experienced and elite trail runners to test themselves on this self-navigating course.

46 km & 3000 m - A challenging course, with steep climbs, ridge lines, epic views, and technical descents. For intermediate-experienced trail runners, encouraging enjoyment as well as performance.

22 km & 1240 m - Fast and furious with a punchy climb. Linking Champex Lac to Le Châble via beautiful trails. An inclusive race created for all types of runners.

10 km & 770 m - A short, sharp introduction to the trail on the valley floor, available to all ages and levels.

The name, ‘Cha Cha Cha’ symbolizes the dance-like meditative qualities that can be achieved when trail running in the ‘flow state’.

Avid trail runners will argue you can achieve this state on the trail once you literally and metaphorically get into the groove! We want you to join our dance through the alps.
