The race will go through Martigny in the direction of Col de la Forclaz, followed by a final climb to Finhaut/Emosson. We are looking forward to see this great race!
Tour de France visit 2016
After hosting the Tour de France in Verbier in 2009, Valais is very excited to have the Tour de France back in the region this year. There are several opportunities to visit the world’s largest cycling race. On Monday 18th July, there will be a stage arrival in the capital city Bern. Our eyes will be focused on the mountain stage on Wednesday 20th July from Bern towards the Émosson Dam (Finhaut, Valais). Another great viewing opportunity is the individual time trial from Sallanches to Megève. Thursday 21st July, or the mountain stage Megève to Morzine on Saturday 23rd July.
