This apartment was purchased with a full renovation in mind and in need of a new life. The existing apartment had limited natural light, small spaces and an outdated décor. It was also lacking a natural flow to the living space. Home Partner SA aimed for a fluid open-plan layout using alpine-chique decor and natural old wood to maximise the use of each space.
The overall layout of the apartment was kept intact. However, to increase sleeping space, a second bunk-bedroom was created just off of the hallway. Both the master bedroom and bunk-bed room were beautifully decorated in old wood.
Ample new storage was built into the walls as both the kitchen and bathroom were fully renovated.
Wooden furniture makes the place look more spacious while different furniture sets arranged properly help to divide the main living space into zones for various activities.
All wall surfaces, existing and new, were finished with a mix of a bright white finish and old wood accent walls to create a more open feeling living space.
