Switzerland is famous for mountain climbing for a reason! Come face your fears – no matter what Alpine objective you dream of at night, bring it to life in the 4 Valleys and climb your way into mountaineering history!
There are various options for climbing in and around La Tzoumaz. If you are looking to stay close to the village, you can make your way to the Domus Foundation where you will find various climbing routes situated close.
Over to the Verbier side, there are more than 500 routes and 30 climbing sites, for both beginner and experienced climbers.
If you are looking for something impressive, you can choose to climb to the top of the Pierre-Avoi. This limestone tower looms majestically over the lower Valais offering a fantastic view.

Mountain bikes & eBikes
Summer in the 4 Valleys is definite for biking! Regardless of whether you prefer e-biking, mountain biking or enjoying a bit of fresh air, the 4 Valleys will have a bike route you’ll love! From hobby cyclists to thrill seekers, both are in for a specular way of discovering this giant playground.
There are 9 downhill tracks, 23 enduro trails, 500 km of cross-country tracks, and numerous paths for e-biking around La Tzoumaz and Verbier.
Whether you are a beginner or want to develop your skills, there are itineraries suitable for everyone.
The Tour du Mont-Fort is a mountain bike itinerary that connects 3 resorts: Verbier, La Tzoumaz, and Nendaz (in that order). There are two options: one for medium difficulty and one for advanced riders.
If you are looking to rent bikes, you can head over to the T-Shop where you can find e-bikes and mountain bikes suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Mont 4 Zipline
Fly through the mountains on an exhilarating high adrenaline adventure – no experience required!
For those who may not know, Zip lining is an action-filled recreational activity that involves riding a steel cable on a protective seat or a belt between two points.
Discover one-of-a-kind views while reaching speeds of up to 130km/h and taking in breathtaking views of the 4 Valleys and the nearby mountain ranges. The Mont 4 Zipline covers a distance of 1,400m and a difference in altitude of 383m at speeds of up to 130km/h.
The meeting point is located at the restaurant des Gentianes (where the zip line arrives) at the selected time.

Via Ferrata & Via Cordata
A few kilometers from La Tzoumaz you will find 2 of the most beautiful Via Ferrata in the 4 Valleys, the Edelweiss Blue route and the Androsace Red, both for different levels and offer spectacular passages with monkey bridges, footbridges, and suspended beams.
There are two paths from Les Gentianes that take you to the Monts de Cion, which are above 3,000 meters and placed in a spectacular alpine setting. One is more exposed than the other, but both include a security system that allows you to be connected at all times and keeps you secure.

Please note that for this activity and for safety, you will need a helmet, a harness, and lanyards, all of which can be hired in Verbier.

Fly high above the 4 Valleys taking in the breathtaking views below. Why paragliding? Beyond the incredible views that you will enjoy at such a height when paragliding you will feel pure freedom - as if you were walking on clouds.
There are 5 different partners to choose from if you are looking to set sail and take off from the summit of the 4 Valleys, at an altitude of 2,200 meters. A breathtaking experience, with the Alps as a backdrop!
