La Tzoumaz-Mayens in Riddes gives you access to the La Tzoumaz-Savoleyres ski area, which is itself part of Verbier with 55km of pistes. The slopes are mostly easy and intermediate and are ideal for beginners and good skiers.
The Verbier area has a total of 202 km of runs, mostly intermediate to difficult, with some off-piste sections. It is therefore an area reserved for very good skiers and snowboarders, who will be able to have fun on the funslope near the Savoleyres cable car.

Off-piste Training
Home to fantastic off-piste slopes, riding powder in the 4 Valleys is a one of a kind experience.
At the heart of the 4 Valleys, there are several guides who will be able to offer you a complete training course on avalanches and safety in the high mountains, an absolute necessity when skiing off-piste. Having the right equipment is essential but training is vital.
The courses offer various levels of training and thus deepen the participant's knowledge; they are mainly focused on avalanche risk prevention.
Héliski
Dare to start you wild descent in the fresh snow with a helicopter ride!
Fly into the sunny sky and jump down onto the pristine slopes of the high mountains in the heart of the breathtaking scenery of the Valais Alps. The Swiss Alps are the capital of freeride and off-piste skiing, and our region is also a major player in heli-skiing activities.
This activity requires a good level of skiing as well as adequate snow conditions (powder snow). You can find the rates online for descent or treat yourself to a full day with an experienced guide.
Mont 4 Zipline
The magnificent Mont 4 Zipline starts at 3,330m above sea level, making it the highest in the world and the longest in the Alps. The descent takes you from Mont Fort over the Tortin Glacier to Les Gentianes. Breathtaking views included!
The meeting point is located at the restaurant des Gentianes (arrival point of the zip line).

A facility to be found at the top of the Taillay ski lift in La Tzoumaz! See who can go the fastest. (implementation depending on snow conditions).
Night Adventure
During the winter season, the resort organises torch-lit descents of various slopes, where you can discover an unforgettable experience!
It includes a typical Swiss meal at the top of Savoleyres before skiing back down in the dark with a guide. The trail used is a blue trail which makes the activity accessible to children over 8 years old who have already skied.

Free-riding
Free-riding has developed a lot over the last few years, an increasing number people are looking for the thrill of free-riding rather than classic skiing. The 4 Valleys have adapted their slopes to be able to offer safe and marked freeride circuits.
You will find these slopes listed in yellow, and other itineraries adapted to your level. As some routes require special equipment, it is important to be well informed before attempting any descent of the risks involved.
Vast wild areas such as the Vallon d’Arbi, are signposted and secured for freeride itineraries. The entrance for this circuit can be found to the left near the bottom of the Lac des Vaux ski run, where you can check if this area is officially open or closed. The circuit finishes in La Tzoumaz, providing the ultimate experience of the 4 Valleys complete with exceptional panoramic views. There are about ten other itineraries that can be walked all over the resort (Chassoure-Tortin-Les Gentianes-Plan du Fou etc).
